Akata Kolo Orchestra, c’est le projet que mènent depuis fin 2021 neuf musiciens issus du Conservatoire de Gennevilliers, aux horizons musicaux différents, rassemblés autour de l’afrobeat. Section de cuivres tonitruante, chant lead enivrant, le collectif A.K.O. se tient tout disposé à faire transpirer et bouger son public.

Ce big band cuivré distille son énergie communicative sans compter et nous entraîne dans un Big-Bang musical entre afrobeat débridé, fusion funky et autres prouesses groovalistiques. Et cerise sur le gâteau, ils sont accompagnés par Mary May, dont la voix soul à souhait vient parfaitement compléter et enrichir cette folie musicale, festive et entraînante.
