Charles’ Obituary
Charles Raymond Gabel passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022. Charlie was born May 12 1943 in Woodstock NB. He spent his childhood and the remainder of his life in McAdam NB.
He is preceded by his father Donald Gabel, his beloved mother Leola Lovely Gabel, his older brother Robert (Jeannine) Gabel.
He is survived by a nephew David (Ginette Bourque) of Shediac NB a niece Colleen (Jeff Weir) of Toronto Ontario and great great nephew and great-nieces.
Charlie was well known in McAdam. He worked as the custodian at the McAdam High School for 30 years from 1969 to 1999. He had a love for music and long drives. On every Sunday you would find him at St. George’s Anglican Church his place of worship and service. A place where he felt at peace and made many friends. “He will be sadly missed by all who knew him”.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Upper Main Street, Woodstock, NB
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2 pm from the St. George Anglican Church in McAdam, NB.
Rev. Arnold Godsoe will be officiating.
Interment will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Woodstock, NB at a later date. www.scottfh.com
